Motoring Books

A Selection of Motoring Books

A few Motoring Books here you might find of interest. One of my favorites is the Rover P4 book. These are magnificent cars, and have a look all of their own. I remember my uncle's Rover 90, with red leather upholstrery, and how comfortable it was and by yesterday's standards so fast as well! The handbrake lever on the drivers side by his right knee is curious to say the least. If MGBs are your interest the book here is only just over £4. I have a copy and an excellent read it is too. If you really want to aspire to a classic great then the E Type Jaguar Motoring Book is for you! The fuel consumption of the Rover and Jag is quite high but the MGB is relatively frugal and makes a nice affordable classic. The MGB is a really affordable classic which is real fun to drive and costs nothing to run (well almost nothing!) but even more interesting if you have a falily to convey is the Morris Minor, in its many guises as a split screen saloon, a morris minor 1000, and a morris 100 traveller with the wooden framework on the estate body, with double opening doors at the back. Then there is the ultimate a Morris Minor convertible, which are very coveted and a good motoring investment.
